Vacation Planning
Planning your next Disney vacation? We recommend you use Main Street Travel Co. the official travel agents of Netcot.com. (Ask for Manley and remember to tell her you heard about them on Netcot!)
- Discounts
Discounts are available to some people. Military personnel, AAA members and certainly annual passholders all have access to discounts. Sites like www.mousesavers.com are great resources to learn about these discounts. Even if you’ve been to a Disney resort many times, I recommend asking a travel agent for help in making sure you get all of the discounts you are able to. I recommend using Main Street Travel Co. (ask for Manley and tell her you heard about them on Netcot – you’ll get a gift card for doing so). They’re all huge Disney fans and that gives them the ability to help you get the best rates on all your travel needs. - Annual Passes aren’t just for people who visit annually
Since annual passholders have access to many discounts, it might make sense for at least one person in your traveling party to get an annual pass just to get in on discounts. The value of your discounts might quickly pay for the pass itself! Again, ask Main Street Travel Co. for more information and a recommendation on if this makes sense for your trip. - Rental Cars – Do I need one?
Maybe. If you’re going to Disneyland and have transportation arranged to a hotel near the resort, the hotel most likely has a shuttle to/from Disneyland that leaves every 15-30 minutes. If Walt Disney World is your destination, its important to note that the entire resort is very large and contains many roads with speed limits as high as 50MPH. If you like to hop around to many areas, a car might be more convenient. If you plan to stay on property, you won’t have to pay for parking (just ask for a pass at the front desk). All hotels also have buses that run to every destination in the WDW resort frequently, so getting around won’t be a problem. You can also take advantage of Disney’s Magical Express to get from the airport to your own resort. Ask your travel agent for more details.
Other Disney resorts (Tokyo, Hong Kong and Paris) are all much smaller in overall size. They provide their own on-site transportation and are small enough that most people won’t have a problem walking from their on-property resort to the park they’re visiting.
We recommend that you contact Disney directly or work with a travel agent like the official travel agent of Netcot.com, Main Street Travel Co. to help with booking your Disney vacation. They specialize in Disney vacations as an authorized Disney trip planner and have no fees for their services. Call them today for a quote, ask for Manley and tell her you heard about them on Netcot (and be sure to ask about their gift card promotion for Netcot guests).
