Power Outage Strands Guest On Monorail For Hours


The Walt Disney World monorail system stranded passengers for hours early this morning due to a power failure according to the Orlando Sentinel that started at 1 a.m. Riders had to be rescued by Reedy Creek emergency crews via fire truck laders or through the roof of the monorail. No injuries were reported.

Walt Disney World Finds a Twin

The Disney Wonder cruise ship rescued a man who fell off the Carnival Sensation ship in to the Atlantic Ocean according to U.S. Coast Guard reports. Walt Disney Company To Acquire Marvel For $4 Billion


According to the AP, The Walt Disney Company is purchasing Marvel Entertainment Inc. for about $4 billion in cash and stock bringing characters like Spider-Man and 5,000 other characters into the Disney universe. Disney indicated that Marvel shareholders will receive $30 per share plus 0.745 in Disney shares for every Marvel share they have.
