Power Outage Strands Guest On Monorail For Hours


The Walt Disney World monorail system stranded passengers for hours early this morning due to a power failure according to the Orlando Sentinel that started at 1 a.m. Riders had to be rescued by Reedy Creek emergency crews via fire truck laders or through the roof of the monorail. According to the AP, The Walt Disney Company is purchasing Marvel Entertainment Inc. for about $4 billion in cash and stock bringing characters like Spider-Man and 5,000 other characters into the Disney universe.
