Don’t worry, this won’t be one of those long, drawn out bio pages. We get sick of those, too. However, we recognize that people like to put a face with a name, so with that in mind…

Van


Van is 1/2 of the brain behind Netcot.com. Along with his brother, “Chainsaw,” the two set out to build one of the first Disney fan websites on the internet – back in the early 90s, when most people had to use a phone line to get to the internet!

In 2005, Van took over at Netcot.com when Chainsaw backed out to pursue other interests. That year saw the launch of the Netcot podcast and would lead to new iterations of the site, including the current one. When Van isn’t working or spending time with his wife and son, he’s usually working on something that has to do with Netcot.

Joel


Joel (also known as “napnet” on the message boards) joined the Netcot staff in 2007 dedicated to bringing the biggest news stories to front page of Netcot.com. Joel graduated from Florida State University with a degree in MIS. He currently does C#.NET programming for the Department of Justice as a contractor.

Joel’s been to WDW 101 times (or something like that) and to Disneyland twice. He’s been married for 4 years and is the proud father of a lovebird named Suzie. He’s pictured here, stuck at Mickey’s Philharmagic.

Matt

Matt lives in Jacksonville, Florida and has been to Walt Disney World more times than he can keep track of, yet he has still not made it out to Disneyland in California. When he’s not closely following everything “Disney” he occupies his time with his second favorite thing: anything to do with technology

Daniel


Daniel is currently attending Georgia Tech majoring in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. Daniel is an amateur meteorologist. In his spare time, he scours through hours of Disney Channel and ABC programming, enjoys reading and plays percussion in the GA Tech Symphonic Band.

You can find Daniel on the message boards simply by looking for his name as the same screen name. He’s also the youngest of the Netcot crew. We won’t tell you who’s the oldest.
