Disabled Mayor Claims Harassment

According to the Miami Herald, Myron Rosner, paraplegic and Mayor of North Miami Beach, took his family to Walt Disney World for Thanksgiving weekend. The problem? Rosner’s wheel chair is the iBOT 4000, capable of moving on 4 or 2 wheels. Rosner keeps the machine running on 2 wheels to be at eye-level with his family. Unfortunately, Disney employees thought the chair as a Segway and asked for Rosner to drop down to four wheels. When the mayor tried to enter Epcot, he was told ‘to go down on all fours,” and Rosner replied “the only way I’m going down is if the sheriff takes me down.”

Rosner said he plans to file suit against Disney for the embarrassing experience.Rosner said Monday he plans to file lawsuits against Disney for what he called an embarrassing experience.

Why sue! Yes he was embarassed, but no phyical harm done! Not like they told him he couldn’t bring the wheelchair into the park!

You would think that the leader of a city would understand and be somewhat obliging and speak to the management without threatening litigation.
Let’s all just sue!
I feel for your inability to move on your own body motion without the help of a wheelchair, but you don’t deserve anything other than apology, and a “have a nice day” wave as you leave!
