More Than 1,000 Immigrants Take Citizenship Oath at Disney World
Over 1,000 immigrants were at the Magic Kingdom were they took the Oath of Allegiance to the United States in a citizenship ceremony Friday morning. The group then went to the premiere of Disney’s updated Hall of Presidents that officially opens today. Actor Andy Garcia, a naturalized citizen originally from Cuba, gave a keynote speech at the ceremony. The event is jointly hosted by the Walt Disney Company and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
