Disney’s The Little Mermaid Swims Away
Disney Theatrical Production’s “The Little Mermaid” will have its last performance at the Rialto on Broadway on August 30, 2009. There are speculations that the show did not recover its initial investment (around $15 million) during its year and a half run.
Possibilities for the show include a traveling version (with a retooled set that is more easily portable) or moving from its current home (the Rialto) to the Lunt-Fontanne.
