Disney Buys into Hulu


According to Bloomberg News, the Walt Disney Company has bought 27% of the internet streaming site, Hulu. The company joins Providence Equity Partners, NBC Universal, and News Corp. as investors in the internet phenomenon for less than $35 million. 

As part of the deal, Hulu will gain full-length episodes from current ABC and ABC Family shows as well as access to older Walt Disney films and ABC shows. With the addition of Disney, only CBS remains the only one of the major four networks that has yet to buy into Hulu.
