Disney and YouTube


Disney and ABCThe Walt Disney Company’s television group said today that they would make shorter versions of various content available on YouTube. The company wants to use YouTube as a way to help promote their shows, but not replace the purpose of their own ABC.com site, which offers full versions of many shows for a period of time. In addition, an unnamed source told the NY Times that Disney is also in talks with Hulu.com in an attempt to take an equity stake in that site.

This could be a great move for Disney and ABC fans alike!
If Disney takes a portion of HULU and gets their old shows online, it would definitely be a step in bringing family entertainment into the digital age of the internet.
I have to be honest with you; the newer crop of Disney shows just leave me baffled as to who they’re actually catering to….
But that just one dad’s opinion.

I agree with you about some Disney shows leaving you hanging in who the show is aimed for. But there are also ones like DWTS that families can watch, good clean fun
