Walt Disney World Cutting Work Force Again

In January, the Walt Disney Company said that it was buying out 600 executives, including 300 at Walt Disney World. Now, more jobs are being cut according to the Tampa Tribune.
“We are in the middle of a domestic reorganization to our backstage operations.” Mike Griffin, vice president of communications for Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, said on Wednesday. “We are going forward with efficiencies.”
The company has declined to indicate how many layoffs will happen but that the job cuts began about 3 weeks ago.
