Disney’s “Are You 23?” Campaign Reveals Itself
For what has seemed like months, Disney’s D23 site has been mysterious, only showing “Are You 23?” and then flashing to Tinkerbell and a countdown until March 10. Yesterday, at Disney’s Annual Shareholder Meeting, CEO Bob Iger announced the details of Disney’s Official Fan Club:
What is it?
D23 is Disney’s official fan community. The 23 stands for 1923-when Walt first opened his Hollywood studio. The community will allow members to experience the behind-the-scenes magic like never before.
What Does it Cost/Include:
Membership is $74.99 (the same as a 1-day non-parkhopper ticket to the parks). A one-year membership includes:
- Disney’s “Twenty-Three” Quarterly Publication. The magazine is an “all access pass” the the past, present, and future of Disney.
- Membership Card and Certificate. The characters on the certificate were drawn by Artist David Pacheco.
- Surprise Gift-a gift only available to D23 members.
- Exclusive events and Merchandise
- D23 Expo. Guest speakers, celebrities, exhibitions, film screenings, sneak peaks, special merchandise and discounted tickets available to D23 members.
