The Orlando Sentinel is reporting Peter H. Dominick Jr., has passed away from a heart attack while cross-country skiing near Aspen. Dominick was the architect who designed the Wilderness Lodge in the 1990s. His firm also designed the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Grand Californian Hotel at Disneyland.

Space Mountain will go down for refurbishment as of April 19th, says the Orlando Sentinel, and will remain closed for most of the year.
