1913: Imagineer, and Disney Legend, Claude Coats (Pinocchio, Snow White, Fantasia, Cinderella, the Lady and the Tramp; backgrounds for the Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion rides).
1924: Actor Guy Williams (Zorro in Zorro the TV series) is born Armand Joseph Catalano in New York City.
1927: Actress and singer Eartha Kitt (Yzma in The Emperor’s New Groove, The Emperor’s New School, and Kronk’s New Groove) is born in Columbia, South Carolina.
1927: Disney Legend Antonio Bertini is born in Milan, Italy (He worked as a sales representative in character merchandising).
1930: The first Mickey Mouse comic strip (drawn by Ub Iwerks, written by Walt Disney, inked by Win Smith) is published in the New York Mirror.
1930: Actor Rod Taylor (Pongo in 101 Dalmatians) is born in Sydney, Australia.
1931: Actor James Earl Jones (Mufasa in The Lion King and The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride) is born in Arkabutla, Missouri.
1931: Actor Charles Nelson Reilly (King Midas in Hercules the TV Series and Dutch Sparkle in Goof Troop.
1938: Disney’s 1st animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, premieres.
1949: Actor Roger Mobley (Gallegher, The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again, Emil and the Detectives) is born in Evansville, Indiana.

1999: The third, and final, section of Walt Disney World’s All-Star Resort (the All-Star Movies Resort) is completed.
2001: At Disneyland, the Downtown Disney area opens to the public.
2003: In Disney’s California Adventure’s Hyperion Theatre, Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular premieres to the public.
2004: Disney announces that the animation department in Florida’s Disney-MGM Studios will be closing.
2006: Disney’s Glory Road is released.
2007: The Disney Channel premieres its latest show, Cory in the House (it’s the channel’s first spinoff of a previous series).
