1905: Actor, and Disney Legend, Sterling Holloway (the voice of Winnie the Pooh) is born in Cedartown, GA.
1913: Animator, director, writer, and Disney Legend, Jack Hannah (clean-up artist on early Mickey, Donald, and Silly Symphony cartoons) is born in Arizona.
1913: Executive, and Disney Legend, Donn Tatum (the first non-Disney family member to head the Walt Disney Company) is born in California.
1916: Disney Legend Card Walker (CEO of Walt Disney Productions from 1976-1980) is born Esmond Cardon Walker in Rexburg, Idaho.
1918: Composer, and Disney Legend, Norman “Buddy” Baker (The Mickey Mouse Club, the Haunted Mansion) is born in Springfield, Missouri.
1930: Roy E. Disney is born in Los Angeles, California.
1955: Actor Rowan Atkinson (Zazu in The Lion King, best known as Mr. Bean) is born in Consett, County Durham, England.
1958: Actor Matt Frewer (Hercules, Mickey’s House of Villains, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids) is born in Washington, D.C.
1962: Actress April Winchell (Kim Possible: So the Drama, Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas, Tarzan & Jane) is born in New York City.
1963: Actor Dave Foley (Flik in A Bug’s Life, Mr. Boy in Sky High) is born in Etobicoke, Ontario.
1989: In Walt Disney World’s Tomorrowland, the If You Could Fly attraction closes.
1992: In the Animation Courtyard at the Disney-MGM Studios, Voyage of the Little Mermaid replaces Here Come the Muppets.
1999: In Epcot’s Future World, Horizons closes forever.
2003: At Disney’s Polynesian Resort, the Polynesian Revue gives it’s last performance.
2005: At Epcot, the Wonders of Life Pavilion beings to only open seasonally.
2008: As of this week, Disney’s MGM-Studios is renamed Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
