Maid attacked at Disney’s Pop Century
Cadilia Juste, a housekeeper at Disney’s Pop Century in Orlando, was badly beaten while cleaning a room and had to spend time in the hospital, reports WFTV. Police did find her attacker, who was charged and arrested for aggravated battery. On top of all this, Juste claims that Disney is threatening to fire her if she didn’t return to work a few days after her attack.
She spent three days in the hospital and has returned to her home, but she doesn’t feel well enough to return to work. Earlier this week, Juste claims that a manager told her that if she didn’t return to work, she would be fired. Disney released a statement saying that Juste must be having a language barrier problem and is actively trying to help Juste during her recovery process.
