Disney Increases Hold on Jetix Europe

According to BizJournals.com, The Walt Disney Company increased their stake in Jetix Europe (formerely Fox Kids Europe) from 74% to 96%, with all outstanding shares being bought by the company for 11 euros per share. The purchase was made to increase Disney’s kids and family media business in Europe and further extend the Disney brand in that continent.
