Disney Cruise Line Going 3D

In a first for the cruise line industry, the Disney Cruise Line is going to start showing movies in Disney Digital 3-D, states The Earth Times. The Wonder will start showing 3D films on Nov. 20 and the Magic will follow on December 6. In 2009, Disney plans to improve upon this technology by making the experience immersive. How’s that? They’ll use lasers, fog, special lighting effects, and other techniques that will put the guest in the middle of the film.
