1911: Author Daniel Pratt Mannix IV (The Fox and the Hound) is born in Pennsylvania.
1912: Animator, Disney Legend, and one of Walt’s “Nine Old Men,” Ollie Johnston (Bambi, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Mary Poppins, The AristoCats, The Jungle Book, The Rescuers, The Fox and the Hound) is born in Palo Alto, California.
1921: Animator Retta Davidson (Pinocchio, Bambi, Fantasia) is born in Aracadia, California.
1939: Actor John Cleese (Grizzled Sergeant in Around the World in 80 Days, Mr. Toad’s Lawyer in The Wind in the Willows) is born in Somerset, England.
1942: Actor David Ogden Stiers (Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, Jumba in Lilo & Stitch) is born in Peoria, Illinois.
1951: Animator Randy Cartwright (The Rescuers, Pete’s Dragon, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, the Magic Carpet in Aladdin) is born in Virginia.
