ADRs On-line: Coming soon!

As early as mid-November of this year, you’ll be able to make ADRs (advanced dining reservactions) via an on-line website utility. An unnamed source close to The Walt Disney Company has confirmed that the system is currenlty in beta testing and will be launched this fall.

This system will allow guests to make reservations via the web as an alternative to the current 407-WDW-DINE reservaction phone line system. As more information is available on this system, we’ll bring it to you!

Oh, idea: how about extending the monorail to run from some of the resorts to the parks, cutting the need for the buses, making them more efficient…

About time too. Its virtually impossible to book ADRs from overseas – time zone differences, expensive calls and “accent” issues for starters. I’m really pleased they have finally done this. Heck, if I can order pizza on line from my local pizza store, surely I can book a reservation at Disney online!?

Ok, no more joking from me. I think the problems with having ADRs online before is that they had trouble verifying them and keeping them secure. Since they’ve upgraded their computer department lately, this is the next thing to come online (sorry for the pun).
