They were all union reps and the arrests were carefully choreographed so that the actual workers would all comply with the police request to stop blocking the street, and the pre-chosen union reps would disobey so they could get arrested on camera and kids all over could see Mickey and their favorite Disney characters getting hauled away by the cops in plastic handcuffs. As a proud union member, I wish this stupid publicity stunts would stop stick to negotiations that don't come at the expense of kids. It's this kind of selfishness with no regard to others that loose us the support of the public and contributes to union bashing. Most unions and union people are above that kind of garbage. If these workers have valid claims Disney should do the right thing. I have seen plenty of hotel workers at Disneyland and WDW bust their butt to bring us the "magic" so at least they should get a fair deal. I really don’t think this is funny.
