Sleeping Beauty’s Castle Walk-through to Reopen?

The LA Times has reported that construction crews have started to restore the Sleeping Beauty Castle walk-through. The attraction, on the second story of the castle, was closed for refurbishment in October 2001 (although many speculate that the real reasons were for fear of a terrorist attack on the wooden structure. The attraction originally opened in 1957 with 10 dioramas that detailed the story of Sleeping Beauty and how Briar Rose grew into Princess Aurora.

The 50th anniversary DVD of “Sleeping Beauty” will have a computer re-creation of the attraction.
