Disneyland Hotel Workers Protest
Disneyland cast members that are a part of the Unite Here Local 681 have started picketing after the union’s leaders and Disney management have yet to reach an agreement. The union’s members are unhappy with Disney’s proposal that new union members will receive lower wages as veteran union members in the same position. Disneyland management is unhappy that the union is publishing all of the negotiation’s talks in the local newspapers.
Union officials stated that a strike is not out of the question if a deal is not met soon.
