Walt Disney World Employee Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

Charles Hurrey, A Walt Disney World employee, was arrested on three counts of possessing child pornography. Hurrey admitted to downloading the films but stated he was just curious why people would make them. He has denied ever harming a child. He was employed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios where he issued and repaired photography equipment and deployed photographers around the park. He has been put on unpaid administrative leave from Walt Disney World pending the charges.

Can someone explain to me why it matters that he worked at WDW? You don’t hear where murders or car thieves work? Unless this happened on Disney property it has no business being mentioned here or on the news.

You never hear about a guy who worked at McDonald’s getting arrested for this on national news, only Disney World employees. My guess as to why is because they work so closely with children on vacation in a magical place.
