Brittany Murphy No Longer The Voice Of Tinker Bell In New Disney Films

The Show Biz Spy is reporting that Brittany Murphy has been released by Disney and will no longer be the voice of Tinker Bell in the upcoming movie. She was hired in 2006 to provide the voice in the upcoming animated film but has been replaced by 19 year old Mae Whitman. Disney has not given any explanation for her release and is another delay in the production for the film.

She was obviously replaced with someone within the Disney studio system. I bet Mae Whitman will be staring in a Disney Channel movie, release a Hollywood Records album, be featured on Radio Disney, and eventually have her own series. She’s already the voice of Rose from “American Dragon: Jake Long”.

Hopefully she won’t sing like she did on Arrested Development. Well… she did come in third place…
