TiVo + Disney = Recordable Movies

TiVo users will be able to download Disney movies for a 24-hour rental. The company expects to offer the Disney rentals later this year to its broadband-connected TiVo Series2 and Series3 subscribers. The price for this service has yet to be announced. The Disney movies will be added to TiVo’s library of more than 30,000 titles from Amazon Unbox, Music Choice, and other content providers.
Blockbuster and DirecTv, separately, are looking to form similar downloadable rental programs.
