Georgia High School Teacher Stole Senior Trip Money To Walt Disney World

Christy Wise, a 39-year-old Coffee County (Georgia) High School substitute teacher, has been arrested in a scheme to steal money from students for their senior trip to Walt Disney World. Wise collected over $7,400 from students but never booked the reservations to Walt Disney World. The students with suitcases and bags arrived outside their high school waiting for their vacation, but the bus and Wise never came. Wise was arrested and posted bond from the Coffee County Jail.

This is such a sad story. It is so hard to believe that a teacher could steal from students. Also, it is sad that the students didn’t know until they were packed and ready to go. I wish that Disney had been able to work some magic for these students.

why would anyone risk their job and the trust of others for seven grand, i mean if it were like a billion, ok, take the risk, but this…

note, im not condoning any theft of any kind and this is just sad on her part and you know even if your a cool high schooler you not getting your senior trip to disney it just wrong, really wrong
