Disney Cruise Line To Levy Fuel Fee For Bookings Made After May 27

Disney Cruise Lines(News | Source: Orlando Sentinel)

Disney Cruise Line has stated that it will follow every other major cruise operator and charging passengers a fuel fee to offset soaring fuel costs. Disney will charge the first two passengers in a room $8 per person per day with a maximum of $112 per person. Additional passengers will only be charged $3 per person per day with the maximum at $42. It will begin to levy the fees on any new bookings made after May 27. Disney said it will resend the fee when oil has been trading below $70 per barrel for 30 days.

Wow, that really does suck. I’m about to go on a Disney Cruise in June for my sisters make-a-wish. I don’t think we have to pay the fee, but for families that is going to really add on top of the high cruise prices.
