Miley Cyrus Embarrased Over Vanity Fair Magazine Photograph

Both Miley Cyrus and Disney are upset about a photo shoot for Vanity Fair magazine. The photo was taken by Annie Leibovitz and shows Miley sitting with just a blanket wrapped around her chest.
Miley said “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed, I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”
Disney also responded by saying “Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines.”
It’s completely ridiculous. Art is gorgeous, that picture of her is gorgeous. It’s perverted old men that are going to construe it as sexual, Miley didn’t, Annie didn’t. It’s the conservative view that finds this as sexual, but it’s not. It’s a beautiful photo, Miley looks stunning. It’s artistic; it’s Miley without the clumped on makeup, without the Hannah Montana wig. It’s just purely Miley, and the profound innocence displayed in the shot is gorgeous.
