(News | Source: Orlando Business Journal)

Lynx, the public bus agency in Orlando, will receive $7.36 million over the next 5 years due to an agreement between the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority, the Florida Department of Transportation and Walt Disney World Resort. The money will be used to increase routes and frequency of existing ones.

“We recognize that accommodating transportation needs in our community is not the sole responsibility of government and we’re pleased to participate,” said Walt Disney World vice president of operations Mark Rucker.
