Disney Cruise Line will open a London office this summer. About 20 employees will be stationed in Great Britain, though not all will come from existing offices in Central Florida. The London office will be run by Disney Cruise Line’s Senior Vice President, Tom Wolber. The main reason for this move is to increase the presence of the Disney Cruise Line internationally.
Disney is having two new ships built in Germany, which will increase the number of ships on the seas from two to four when they arrive in 2011 and 2012. Some industry analysts expect Disney will then choose to keep a ship permanently based in Europe.
