What turned out to be one of the most successful “limited engagements” of this decade will be “popping” into stores near you late this summer. Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus’ “Best of Both Worlds” Tour/3D Movie grossed about $40 million in theaters in early February. This will be Disney’s first venture to bring 3D movies into your home on the Blu-Ray format (3D technology was typically reserved for movie theaters to make more money).
The live concert film will be released in both 2D and 3D formats on Blu-Ray Disk on August 19th with a retail cost of $35.98.
