Walt Disney World Drops Sponsorship Of The Florida Classic

Walt Disney World is dropping its sponsorship of the Florida Classic after 10 years of sponsorship. The Florida Classic is an annual game between Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman University. The game will continue to be played at the Citrus Bowl but will be looking for a new lead sponsor.

“We decided to bring our sponsorship to a close, but we still remain fans of the Florida Classic and want to see it stay in Orlando,” Disney spokesperson Andrea Singer said Thursday. “We’re proud of that commitment and the important role we’ve had in bringing it to Orlando.”
