Construction At Contemporary Resort Given A Name And Will Be A DVC Resort

The Walt Disney Company has gotten approval to sell time shares in the new 15 story tower being built next to the Contemporary Resort. Disney has also titled the building The Kingdom Tower in documents that have been filed with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Disney still will not comment on the construction or what is being built. Disney plans to begin selling an initial 75 units and expanding to 281 according to the filings.

“We don’t have anything to announce today,” spokeswoman Diane Hancock said.

The resort will also feature a new pool, two hot tubs, a 104 foot long water slide, two tennis courts, two shuffleboard courts, two boccie ball courts and a barbecue pavilion with 490 square feet of covered area.
