Army To Pay Disney To Help Improve Quality Of Care At Walter Reed Army Medical Center

The U.S. Army will be enlisting the Disney Institute to help ‘revamp attitudes’ at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. The government will be paying Disney $800,000 to run a series of four-hour trainings for its staff. The program will focus on improving customer service in the health care industry. It has been about a year since the scandal involving the treatment of soldiers at the hospital.
