Kilimanjaro Safari Truck Catches Fire At Disney’s Animal Kingdom

A truck engine at Kilimanjaro Safari’s at Disney’s Animal Kingdom caught fire on Sunday sending one woman to the hospital with minor injuries. The fire broke out when an engine hose failed. The fire was mostly out by the time the Reedy Creek Fire Department arrived. The woman who was injured hurt her knee jumping out of the truck. Disney is inspecting all the vehicles and expect the ride to re-open today.
