Disney announced that they will be opening a new fun and interactive exhibit at Epcot’s Innoventions titled StormStruck: A Tale of Two Homes. The exhibit is from the Tallahassee, Florida based Federal Alliance for Safe Homes (FLASH) which was co-founded by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The attraction will allow visitors to experience severe weather, such as a hurricane. Afterwards, the exhibit will teach guests about cutting-edge technology used to protect homes.

“This groundbreaking exhibit represents a milestone in the disaster safety movement. It will save lives and homes by combining fun with education.” Leslie Chapman-Henderson, President and CEO of FLASH said. “We have never doubted the need for disaster preparedness, and who does it better than Disney when it comes to storytelling?”
