Contemporary Construction Update

(News | Source: Netcot.com onsite at the WDW property)

As mentioned on the latest episode (#082) of the Netcot Podcast, Disney isn’t doing a lot of talking about their latest construction project which can be found at the Contemporary Resort in Walt Disney World. Documents submitted to local government offices reference the area as the construction of a crescent shaped building that will house suites. Those documents also made reference to “DVC” or the Disney Vacation Club. These photos were taken this morning showing the status of this construction project. (Click for larger images.)

Van are you at Disney World?

It kinda looks like Disney is building a second Roman coliseum .

It would make total sense for Disney to have more DVC accomodations at the resorts on the monorail line. Right now the only thing they have close is the DVC villas at the Wilderness Lodge, which is of course, not on the monorail line. I hope that someday they have something at the Polynesian because that is my favorite Disney resort.
