Rock ‘n’ Roll Beach Club Closing At Pleasure Island

Pleasure Island(News | Source: Orlando Sentinel)

Rock ‘n’ Roll Beach Club will be closing on February 3rd at Pleasure Island. It is one of the few venues known for its nightly live music. Disney has declined to elaborate on plans for the building but has denied rumors that the building would be torn down. The beach club originally opened in 1989 as the XZFR Rockin’ Rollerdrome which included a roller rink inside the club. The rink was deemed too dangerous and was removed in favor of a beach theme.

BUMMER! I am so sad! I love this club. It’s so sad that pleasure island is going downhill. No one goes anymore and that makes me emo :( well at least adventures club and comedy warehouse are still open!
