The Atlanta Braves Return To Disney’s Wide World of Sports For 11th Year

The Atlanta Braves will return to Disney’s Wide World of Sports for an 11th year in 2008. The Braves will play a 16 game schedule at Champion Stadium that will include games against the Mets, Tigers, Cardinals, Indians, Rays, Phillies, Nationals and Dodgers. Braves pitchers and catchers will report for spring training on February 11th with position players arriving on the 19th. Full squad workouts begin on February 20th. The team will open the spring schedule with an exhibition game against the University of Georgia on February 27th and then against the Los Angeles Dodgers on the 29th. Tickets go on sale January 5th at 10 a.m. and range from $14.50 to $23.50.
