Russian Channel One To Broadcast ‘The Wonderful World Of Disney’ In Deal

Disney-ABC International Television and the Russian television station Channel One have signed a multi-year deal to begin showing shows and movies in a timeslot titled The Wonderful World of Disney. The broadcast will features Disney movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Wild Hogs, and Finding Nemo. Other Disney Classics such as The Jungle Book and Peter Pan will be broadcast for free in Russia for the first time. The deal also helps open the door for production of movies and shows in Russia. The The Wonderful World of Disney will air 10 times a year.
