New Monorails Arrive At Disneyland

(News | Source: Orange County Register)

Disneyland will be receiving new monorails for the first time in two decades. Five flat-bed trucks transported the first five cars of the redesigned monorail built in Vancouver, Canada. One of the biggest changes is the colors: one will be red with blue glass, blue with purple glass and finally orange with blue glass. The colors are also said to change colors in the sunlight. Additionally, the seats will face the windows so guests can see the parks and the hotel. Testing of the train will be done after the park closes. Disney plans for guests to be able to ride them in late February.
