Pop Warner Football Teams Thrown Out Of Disney

(News | Source: Central Florida News)

Disney threw out three teams who were participating in the Pop Warner Super Bowl competition due to a fight between some of their athletes. Two teams were from Hawaii while the other team was from Baltimore; all the teams were staying on Disney property. Disney policy is to force everyone in a group to leave if even only one member is involved in a violent act on the Walt Disney World Property. Parents of the children on the team were unhappy.

“They could have handled it so much better, you know? They really could have. They could have said look you know what? Fine, you guys have to leave in the morning. Then our babies. We have one year old, two year old, three year olds, that we had to just jerk out of bed and they were just crying. You know it was just a bad scene. It was really a bad scene,” said Labryanna Kubo, a parent traveling with the Hawaii team.

Kudo’s to Disney for doing this and not allowing these kids to get away with such action and not realize the consequences of their bad behavior! This is stuff the parents should be doing with their kids too and enforce appropriate action.

Good job Disney! Don’t let people get away with violence just because it’s a football team, or a mom complains.

There is no place for this activity at Disney or any other public venue. I am glad Dinsey stood up and done what was right. DO NOT LET thugs take over our parks.
