The Walt Disney Company is building a new resort at Walt Disney World for pets. Best Friends Pet Care Inc. has signed an agreement to build a luxury pet resort at the Walt Disney World Resort. The facility will offer a full range of pet hospitality including dog and cat boarding, day care, grooming and day camp. Pets will enjoy amenities such as televisions, raised beddings and activities such as nature walks and to bedtime stories. The facility is expected to open in mid-2009 on Bonnett Creek Parkway. Additionally, Best Friends Pet Care Inc. will be taking over the operations of the other five pet boarding facilities at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom and Fort Wilderness Resort in January.
