Script Being Written For ‘Jungle Cruise’ Movie

(News | Source: Box Office Mojo)

Box Office Mojo had an interview with Walt Disney Pictures Chairman Dick Cook who indicated that a script was being written for a movie based on the Jungle Cruise.

“There will be a family involved. The skipper will play a very important role. He’ll be more of an Indiana Jones kind of guy, with a little Jack Sparrow in him, who’s going to be able to take this family on an adventure that they never dreamed they were going to be on when they first got on board. In true Disney fashion, it will definitely have the adventure and the intensity—but also the heart and the fun.” said Cook. He expects to have a draft within a year and has indicated they expect this to be a tentpole film.

I’m still holding out for that Tiki Birds movie. It can’t be too far away, their running out of other attractions to make into movies.

how about splash mountain (song of the south)… instead of uncle remus use the cavemen….

I cant see this being any good, but I said that about Pirates.

no! no! no!! *tear* no to the Jungle cruise movie, why not make a space mountain movie! I mean what’s with all these ad/lib movie: Haunted Mansion/Pirate/Jungle?

Personally, I can’t stand the Jungle Cruise ride. Once is enough for me… why make a whole movie out of it?
