President Bush will be performing the 60th annual “pardoning of the turkey” for the official national Thanksgiving turkey this week in Washington, DC. Afterwards, the bird will be given a first class flight to Orlando and will receive the red-carpet treatment at Walt Disney World. The bird will serve as the grand marshal of the Thanksgiving Day parade at the Magic Kingdom and will join other animals at resort. The two previous pardoned turkeys have gone to Disneyland. This is playing after the successful ‘You just won the Super bowl, what’s next?’ campaign.
“I think, if the turkey could speak, he’d say he’s ‘going to Disney World,’ ” Disney spokesman Duncan Wardle said.
