New Video Accidentally Shows Canadian Horseshoe Falls In American Video

(News | Source: AP)

The new video created by the U.S. Federal Government and the Walt Disney Company to welcome visitors to America accidentally included the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, not the American Niagara Falls. Horseshoe Falls is the Canadian side of Niagara Falls which sits on the border of the United States and Canada. To make matters worse, the view used in the film could only be viewed from inside the Canadian borders.

“This is not the United States, this is 100 percent Canada, shot from the Canadian side,” Paul Gromosiak, Niagara Falls Historian said. “This is an insult.”

State Department spokesman Sean McCormack indicated that Niagara Falls “is a shared natural wonder, a gateway for both our countries and anyone looking at the video will understand how proud America is to share it with Canada.”
