Disney-ABC Animated Television Shows Dubbed Into Hindi

Disney-ABC Television is dubbing their animated shows into Hindi, a language spoke in India. The Disney Platinum Collection animated titles will be dubbed using local Bollywood talent to voice the characters. The Incredibles will be the first title released using Shah Rukh Khan as the voice of Mr. Incredible. Toy Story, Tarzan, Finding Nemo and the Jungle Book are also going to be dubbed. Desperate Housewives, Lost and Alias will be dubbed as well with Lost being broadcast on October 12.
“We believe in the potential of TV in India and it’s an important part of our global business strategy,” said Greg Johnson, VP of sales at Disney-ABC International Television (Asia Pacific).
