Walt Disney Family Museum Under Construction

A Walt Disney Family Museum is being built in the National Park of Presidio in San Francisco, California. The museum will be housed in buildings that were former military barracks built in 1897. Disney has signed a 40-year lease for the property and has been working closely with the Presidio Trust to insure there is not any damage done to the historic buildings. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2009.
