Hong Kong Discussing Future of Stake in Disneyland

Hong Kong is looking into different funding options for its stake in Hong Kong Disneyland. So far, the local government has been disappointed by attendance and will not provide cash for the park. It is currently in negotiations with the Walt Disney Company to discuss other options such as giving the company more land or selling its stake in the park. The Hong Kong government owns 57 percent of the park and has been hinting at a sale of its stake in the company since last year.
