Disney Stores to be Updated by 2011

In a new agreement with the Walt Disney Company, Children’s Place Retail Stores, Inc. will begin to remodel 236 and ‘maintenance refresh’ for 165 of its licensed Disney Stores located in malls across the country. Children’s Place was actually in breach of contract due to not refurbishing the stores earlier. The original plan called for 9 stores to be remodeled in 2007 and 67 in 2008; now only 7 in 2007 and 49 in 2008.
